What is in it for me?
A good question.
The campaign is part of the work of evangelisation. It is a method by which everyone can have a share and participate in the evangelising work of the Church. We all have different talents and gifts. Every baptised person shares in the ministry, the work of spreading the gospel, in a different way. The laity, every person who can, should be supporting in whatever way possible this work of the Church. The Church exists to evangelise.
By donating you underpin the work of the Church and are part of the mission of Jesus.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to share the blessing of the Lord in your life with others who will benefit from you contributions and your generosity. By contributing you identify yourself as a Catholic, as committed to the work of the Church and as a fervent and faithful disciple of the Lord.
Following on your contribution you will be able to claim a tax benefit when you do you tax returns at the end of your financial year. The Foundation is registered with SARS as a PBO (Public Benefit Organisation) and as such is empowered to issue all donors with a certificate to claim a tax benefit on their contributions.
The Foundation exemption number is 930033792.
At another level, every November, the month of the Holy Souls, all deceased donors are included in a Novena of masses.

Have you made a will?
Many people are slow to make a will. But if they die without making a will they complicate life for their children and the State will take a huge portion of their estate. You owe to your children to make a will. It can always be changed or updated. Furthermore, if you have made a will, you can add a codicil, that is an extra paragraph in which you leave a percentage of your estate to the Foundation. You can do it in your own name or to honour a deceased partner. If you do so you will be prayed for yearly in a Novena of Masses in November as a deceased benefactor.
IMPORTANT
When making a donation be sure to reference the Foundation and give your own name, phone or email address so that it can be acknowledged.
